Donald Trump spotted with ‘Jersey Shore’ stars Mike the Situation and Vinny at UFC 302

The situation in New Jersey involved former president Donald Trump, who is also a convicted felon.

While attending UFC 302 at the Prudential Center in Newark on Saturday, June 1, Trump took the opportunity to pose for pictures with “Jersey Shore” stars Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Vinny Guadagnino.

Sorrentino took to Instagram on a late Sunday, June 2, to share a series of pictures featuring himself and celebrities at the Prudential Center. Among the photos was one where Sorrentino, Trump, and UFC founder Dana White were seen together backstage at the arena. Guadagnino also shared a picture with Trump on his Instagram. Sorrentino captioned the post with the words “Jersey standup.”

A fan on Sorrentino’s Instagram expressed their excitement, commenting, “That’s awesome! No way you got a pic with Trump!”

Another commenter expressed their disappointment, stating, “I am really saddened to hear that Mike supports Trump.”

A fan jokingly mentioned, “Helping Trump with prison advice,” in reference to Sorrentino’s own experience of serving time in federal prison for tax fraud in 2019.

Trump, who has a residence in Bedminster, received a guilty verdict on May 30 for all 34 counts in his New York trial. This trial revealed that he had falsified business records in order to conceal a payment made to Stormy Daniels before the 2016 presidential election. Additionally, Trump was held accountable for sexually abusing advice columnist E. Jean Carroll back in 1996, as determined by a civil case in 2023.

Attending the fights that night marked one of Trump’s initial public appearances following his conviction.

Sorrentino, a Manalapan native, also shared pictures with his “Jersey Shore” co-star, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, New York Jets quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, and New Jersey Governor, Phil Murphy, among other notable individuals.

In the lightweight division, Islam Makhachev emerged victorious over Dustin Poirier with a submission in the night’s main event.
