Brooks Farmer’s Market

Griffin Brumbelow, Writer

Are you a fan of buying local and interested in buying homegrown and homemade products from local Fayette County residents? Well, you’re in luck. The Brooks Farmer’s Market is held on the last Saturday morning of the month in downtown Brooks. Local farmers, artists, and entrepreneurs provide fresh produce, baked goods, home decor, BBQ, seafood, and even snow cones to the residents that visit the market. To add to the festivity, local musicians perform live while customers shop and socialize. Brooks Mayor, Dan Langford, explains, “The Farmer’s Market is always an excellent time!” All vendors have hand sanitizer available for customer use. Face masks are recommended, and social distancing practices are to be utilized as much as practicable. The next Farmer’s market is scheduled for Saturday, September 26 from 9:00-1:00. Come hungry, and leave happy!
