Water is a very important part of our body and if we don’t drink enough of it there could be some serious consequences. But what would happen if you drink a gallon of water everyday? Most people drink when they are thirsty and stop when it is quenched while not really knowing how much they are actually drinking. There has been some evidence that drinking a gallon a day is good for you, one way is by increasing your energy level, which also goes along with bettering your performance. It can also maintain the balance of bodily fluids, which means the fewer times your mouth, nose, and throat would be dry because you’re constantly giving your body the water it needs. It could possibly decrease the amount of headaches you’re receiving because “one of the earliest symptoms of dehydration is a headache”(Meritage Medical Network). Drinking this much water may help with fighting bloating, but one thing to remember is not to drink too much water all at once. Although it can help decrease bloating, drinking a lot of water too fast can just cause more. Drinking this much water could also help with weight loss. When you drink this much water it can cause you to be less hungry because you aren’t eating as much, but it will also cause you to need to use the restroom more.
