Fayette County Schools:Less Breaks
Fayette County Schools:Less Breaks

November 2, 2020
This year, Fayette County schools will have fewer breaks because they started on August 17th. All Fayette County schools started a week later. What Fayette County Schools are doing is taking away some breaks or sh0rtening breaks. Thanksgiving break is being cut short by two days. Fayette County started one week later because they were trying to find out if they were going to start in the red zone or yellow zone. Fayette County schools have to make all 180 days of school so they don’t have to go to school past May 25th, 2021 and they still get their full two months of summer.
