In yet another shocking turn of election events, more than 2,600 uncounted ballots were discovered in Floyd County today. Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger blamed the problem on Floyd County election officials failing to upload votes from a memory card in a ballot-scanning machine. The issue was discovered due to the voting audit that began for the state of Georgia on Friday, Nov. 13, 2020.

According to the Atlanta Journal and Constitution, “Trump could gain nearly 800 net votes from the discovered ballots. There were 1,643 new votes for Trump and 865 for Biden.” While this may not be enough votes to change the state back to red, it does bring voting issues to light in our state.
