It’s December and you know what that means, hot cocoa, cookies, presents, decorations, but most importantly the amazing Christmas movies that all play. Here are some family-friendly Christmas movies you must watch this season. The first movie is “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” directed by Ron Howard. This is the live-action of Dr. Suess’s children’s tale about the green Grinch. Jim Carrey, who plays the Grinch despises Christmas and everyone in Whoville. Planning on ruining it for everyone, with the help of his dog max as his reindeer he steals everything Christmas related. The presents, decorations, Christmas treats, even their Christmas meals. However planning everything, the bitter Grinch stumbles upon the sweet Cindy Lou Who, managing to work her magic on him. He may or may not have had a change of heart. “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” is available on Netflix. The next movie is “Elf” which is a family/ comedy movie directed by Jon Favreau. “Elf” is about a toddler named buddy who is transported to the North Pole by accident and is raised to an adult as one of Santa’s elves. Buddy being a human, not an elf, has always had a hard time fitting in. Unable to shake the feeling of not fitting in, he confronts Santa and figures out the truth. Buddy heads off to New York in search of his real father, unaware of how the real world works, but soon to find out. After finding his father, Walter Hobbes, who is a cynical businessman, Walter demands Buddy takes a DNA test. Once Walter is hit with the truth that Buddy is his son he reluctantly attempts to start a relationship with his elf son and all of the crazy events that take place.
