College Review: Florida State University

Emma Becraft, Writer

The time to apply for colleges is fast approaching and if you don’t know what you’re looking for Florida State may be a good option for you. While the acceptance rate is 36%, the college offers many different opportunities for education. FSU is located in Tallahassee, Florida and the college itself was established in 1851. This college offers a wide variety of available degrees ranging from degrees in the arts to medicine and the practice of law. Some requirements to get into the school are the 2 years of one world language and all of your high school credits. 63% of current students going to FSU had all A’s and B’s throughout high school and the average for SAT scores was 1290-1410 and ACT was 29-32. Florida State is definitely a competitive school but if you have the grades and education but just don’t know what to do with it, Florida State is a solid place to start due to its academic diversity.
