A Taste of Fall

Leanna Willett

September 22nd is around the corner and Georgia is full of fall lovers. From apple orchards to pumpkin spice, we do fall and we do it well. The season isn’t quite here, but in the meantime here are a few things for a jumpstart! Head over to Starbucks and try seasonal drinks like the Apple Crisp Macchiato or the classic Pumpkin Latte. You could also try my go-to September drink that I found on TikTok, consisting of an iced chai tea with oat milk and pumpkin spice syrup, perfect for when the weather is still cool.

After having the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew I give it a 7/10. I prefer hot fall drinks but I will say it’s great for coffee lovers who have a slight sweet tooth.

One of this season’s most popular activities is spending the day at an apple orchard or pumpkin patch. Hillcrest Orchards, B.J Reece Orchards, and Buford Farms are among the best. Enjoy your time going on hayrides, drinking cider, and taking cute friend and family photos. Another great way to celebrate this fall is a scare-filled night at Frightfest. The horrors of this Six Flags experience are back, but still experiencing certain Covid restrictions, making preparation even more important. With all these fall autumn activities, there is so much to partake in!
