Cheerleader Kyndall Frenelle, a junior, earned athlete of the week, an award given to the most exceptional player in their sport. She’s been cheering since 5th grade, and has been on the Whitewater team since freshman year. She loves “competing and cheering at the football games”.
Most of her week is spent preparing for the competitions, “We practice our stunts and tumbling every single day from June to the day of state,” comments Kyndall, a backspot on the team. However, she doesn’t “plan on cheering in college,” she expresses, “but it all just depends on what college I go.”
When asked what she likes to do aside from cheerleading, she says, “I love to be with my friends and family and talk a lot!” What an interesting insight into one of Whitewater’s cheerleaders. She certainly has invested her energy into this sport, and it shows, congratulations Kydall!
