Braves Game

Tuesday night, the Atlanta Braves played their final game of the season competing for the title of World Series Champions! It’s been 26 years since the Braves have won a world series championship and they’ve come close, but this year they really pulled through. In their final game, they played against the Houston Astros in a nerve wrecking game. For the first two innings, neither team scored. Then, the Atlanta Braves scored the first 3 points of the game in the 3rd inning. Following these 3 points were another 3 points in the 5th inning giving the Braves a major lead. Junior Braden Erickson went to the game and this is what he had to say, “As soon as the Braves scored for the second time I knew we were going to win. The noise from the crowd was insane as we scored for a 3rd time while Houston still hadn’t scored once!”.

Ending it off, the Braves scored another point in the seventh inning which would be the last point scored all game, giving the Braves the victory of 7-0. The crowd went wild as the Braves won their 4th world series ever. It was a great victory for all of Atlanta and now the Braves can rest easy until next year.
