Chorus Concert

This past Tuesday, the Whitewater High School chorus along with Stars Mill, Sandy Creek, McIntosh, and Fayette county high school sang together at the Creek Baptist Church. The chorus had a wonderful time; having a chance to sing with chorus groups from other schools all at once is a rare opportunity. All the chorus groups coming together as an all county honor chorus, sang five songs. They sang them in order from Gloria Patri, The Work of Christmas, Oh Come Ye Makers of Song, Who’ll Join the Union, and Hope Will Light Our Way. Senior Archer Holley was amongst the all county honors chorus and he shares his experience with us, “The hardest song was definitely Gloria Patri, but my favorite song was Hope Will Light Our Way. Hope Will Light Our Way was my favorite song because it was the most fun to sing, it had the most unique balancing of voice parts.” Archer also agrees that every student from every school had a great time singing together and the performance came out to be a great success. Overall, the all county honors chorus had a great time and look forward to the next concert!
