In spite of being processed by Arizona authorities on Monday, Rudy Giuliani expressed his immense pride in his endeavors to overturn the 2020 presidential election, stating that he was “very, very proud”.
Donald Trump’s former attorney, Rudy Giuliani, has been indicted in Arizona for his involvement in a fake electors scheme. The scheme involved pro-Trump electors falsely attesting to the former president’s victory in the state, even though he had actually lost. Giuliani has pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy, fraud, and forgery. This marks his second criminal indictment related to his efforts during the 2020 election.
As Rudy Giuliani’s mugshot appeared on the screen during Monday’s episode of CNN’s The Source, Kaitlan Collins stated, “You are now viewing the most recent mugshot of the former Mayor.” She went on to explain that Giuliani had not been processed by Arizona authorities until that day, which is why the photo was being shown at that time. Collins then proceeded to share Giuliani’s statement following his release on $10,000 bond.
During the incident, Collins shared a video clip of a KPNX Phoenix reporter who caught up with Giuliani as he was leaving the police station after being processed.
REPORTER: Do you have any regrets about what you did in Arizona after the election? GIULIANI: Oh my goodness, no. REPORTER: Why not? GIULIANI: I’m very, very proud of it. There was a substantial amount of vote fraud that went on here that was covered up. Probably one of the biggest conspiracies in American history.
According to a spokesperson for Giuliani, the justice system is being used as a tool to target the former mayor and other Trump associates in an effort to sway the outcome of the 2024 presidential race. This statement was provided to Mediaite, where the representative claimed that the system is being unfairly “weaponized” against them.

According to him, Joe Biden and his associates are destroying the credibility and reliability of our criminal justice system in their pursuit to defeat President Trump and maintain their dominance. Goodman expressed his confidence that Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who is recognized as the most accomplished federal prosecutor in US history, will eventually be cleared of all allegations.
Following his defeat in the 2020 election, Trump and his supporters made baseless allegations of election fraud. Giuliani took charge of Trump’s legal efforts after the election, but they were ultimately unsuccessful.
