Cross Country

Cross country was in action last weekend at macintosh park reserve and the bob blastow invitational. Both the male and female teams preformed great and put up some good times. Gabriel best ran In the top race and placed 3rd with a time of 15:38, one of the fastest times in Whitewater history. Here is what he has to say about that race.”While I didn’t end up winning the race it was a valuable experience that I will use in future races. I know I can push myself harder than the people I raced and I will race smarter next time. The competition was good and they pushed me to go faster to try and beat them. I can’t wait to race them again and show them what I am capable of. Being team captain it brings me much joy to see my teammates perform well. I was very pleased with the overall times of each runner and am excited to see what they can do in the coming weeks.” From the looks of it, the cross country team is looking good, can’t wait to see what other great things come from them.
