Minnesota State Patrol Seeks Driver Involved in Fatal Crash

The Minnesota State Patrol is seeking one of the drivers involved in a fatal collision that occurred on Saturday afternoon in Eagan.

According to troopers, a Lincoln MKX driver ran a red light at the intersection of Highway 55 and Lexington Avenue, colliding with the passenger’s side of a Volkswagen Jetta. Tragically, two passengers in the Jetta lost their lives. However, the Jetta’s driver left the scene before law enforcement arrived and remains missing.

Authorities have not yet disclosed the identities of the deceased. The 41-year-old woman from Eagan who drove the Lincoln reportedly sustained no injuries, as indicated in the initial accident report from the Minnesota State Patrol.
