Moisture build-up will cause an increase in cloud cover tonight and into Tuesday morning. Anticipate the likelihood of rain showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday, with the possibility of multiple rounds. Although models suggest the heaviest rainfall will occur in western Wisconsin, southeastern Wisconsin may also experience high totals and a potential flooding threat.
By early Wednesday morning, the rain will come to a halt, leaving the majority of the day dry. Expect a warm and humid day with temperatures reaching the mid to upper 80s. Cloud cover will gradually decrease throughout the day.
The next system is showing a trend of arriving later than expected, with models indicating that Independence Day will be mostly dry. However, there is a possibility of rain coming in during the night of the holiday and continuing into Friday. Despite our efforts to refine the details, we are still predicting rain chances for both days.
On Monday, we can expect mostly sunny weather with high clouds in the afternoon. The temperature will reach a high of 71 degrees, and the wind will be blowing from the east-southeast at a speed of 10 mph.
Tonight, expect to see an increase in cloud cover with a low temperature of 62 degrees. The wind will be coming from the southeast at 10 mph. Expect breezy conditions and rounds of rain and storms on Tuesday, with the high temperature reaching 78 degrees.
