According to Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé, a stabbing incident was reported at the intersection of West Market Street and Central Avenue at 7 a.m. Upon arrival, the police found a man who had been stabbed by another man during an altercation. Fortunately, the victim’s injuries were not life-threatening, and he was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention. Fragé confirmed that the victim is currently in stable condition.
Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the incident, although his identity has not been disclosed. The investigation is ongoing, according to Fragé.
