According to Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé, the police received a report of a stabbing at the intersection of West Market Street and Central Avenue at 7 a.m. Upon arrival, they found a man who had been stabbed by another man during an altercation. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is currently in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
