Two individuals have been hospitalized following a shooting incident in New Orleans East, and the authorities are currently in search of the suspect related to the case.
A spokesperson from the NOPD has stated that the shooting incident occurred on Alcee Fortier Boulevard, between Saigon Drive and Peltier Drive, at around 5 a.m. on Thursday.
According to the spokesperson, an altercation between the victims, a man and a woman, and the assailant led to the shooting incident. The suspect subsequently fled the scene in a green pickup truck that had ladders attached to its top.
Upon arrival at the scene, the police discovered the victims. The condition of the victims was not disclosed by the officials.
