Teens and Boy Injured by Fireworks and Stray Bullet During South Florida 4th of July Celebrations

A 17-year-old boy is currently undergoing surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami after fireworks exploded directly onto his face in Miami Gardens.

According to his mother, the teenager suffered from broken facial bones and brain bleeding during a family celebration. The family members quickly came to his aid and provided necessary assistance.

According to Marquis Hollinger, the fire spread quickly on Thursday night. His clothes caught fire, and Nicole Roselien and others acted quickly to help, grabbing him as they saw the flames.

According to Roselien, the man had suffered a gash on the side of his face and had been burned on one side.

During Fourth of July celebrations on Thursday night in Miami-Dade and Broward counties, a teen from Miami Gardens was one of four minors who sustained injuries.

According to the Margate Police Department, a 10-year-old boy sustained injuries to his fingers due to fireworks. His parents rushed him to HCA Florida Northwest Hospital in Margate for medical attention.

In Miami-Dade County, a 13-year-old was injured while lighting fireworks, resulting in burns to their hand. Additionally, a stray bullet hit a 13-year-old boy in the arm, causing injury. Fortunately, he received treatment at JMH’s Ryder Trauma Center and was discharged the following morning. The incident was reported to the police.
