Police have apprehended the man who was considered “armed and dangerous” and wanted in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in Sarasota on Thursday morning. The suspect was found and arrested in Miami.
According to the Sarasota Police Department, a fatal shooting occurred at the intersection of Dixie Avenue and 24th Street around 1 a.m. on Thursday. Tragically, a man lost his life as a result of the incident.
Police are holding Kevin Holloway, aged 54, in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred overnight. The officers suspect that Holloway is responsible for the shooting and have charged him with murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and two counts of aggravated assault.
The Miami Police Department received a heartfelt appreciation from the Sarasota Police Department for lending its support.
