Oklahoma City Home Catches Fire due to Fireworks

A fire started by fireworks early on Friday morning forced a family in the metro area to leave their home.The dumpster caught fire due to fireworks, which led to the attic of the house catching fire as well.

The incident took place on the night of July 4th, around 11:30 p.m. at a residence situated near SE 89th and Sunny Lane in Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma City residents were cautioned by the crews after the fire was extinguished.

It’s a common practice during this time of year, despite being illegal in Oklahoma City. However, it’s worth considering attending public displays instead, as they also take care of the clean-up process.

Fortunately, there were no reported injuries during the fire, however, the house sustained substantial damage.
