In Miami-Dade County, Florida, a 17-year-old boy is currently undergoing surgery after a fireworks mishap during his family’s Fourth of July celebration. The fireworks exploded directly in his face, causing severe injuries.

On Friday, his mother, filled with distress, urged him to be safe outside the hospital by saying, “Be safe out there.”

Three children, one of whom was a teen, suffered injuries from fireworks during the Fourth of July celebrations on Thursday night in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

According to authorities, a young victim of just 13 years old sustained burns to the hand while igniting fireworks in Miami-Dade County.

According to the Margate Police Department, a young boy of 10 years old suffered a finger injury and was taken to HCA Florida Northwest Hospital in Margate by his parents for medical attention.

During the Fourth of July fireworks in Miami-Dade, stray bullets posed a significant threat, resulting in gunshot wounds for a 13-year-old boy and a woman suffered.
