During the press conference, Anginette Morgan, the mother of Raejonette Morgan, firmly stated that justice must be served and those responsible for her daughter’s unfortunate incident must face the consequences. She demanded that the officers involved step aside or undergo a thorough investigation. “I’m going to demand that justice — she gets justice for what happened to her,” she said.
Police have not yet made any arrests related to the shooting, and as of now, there is no description of the suspect available.

Leslie-Pullen can be seen in a video reviewed by ABC News asking the deputy if they can help the woman who is still breathing. However, the response from the deputy cannot be heard.
According to Leslie-Pullen, she sought refuge in a nearby dispensary when she heard gunshots. After the shooting had stopped, she came out and began filming.
Leslie-Pullen expressed her emotions at the press conference, “Do you know how that feels? To know that she could have been saved, she was smiling. She fought when she got out.”
According to a statement sent to KABC, the Sheriff’s Department is reviewing the incident to ensure that department policies and procedures were adhered to.
