Police released a photo of a guy armed with a long rifle who jumped out of a Camaro and shot and killed a man in Detroit

Investigators from the DPD have recently released a photo of a suspect who is still on the loose, after shooting and killing a 30-year-old man almost a month ago.

Police reported that the suspect was spotted at the intersection of Central St. and McGraw Ave. at approximately 8:50 p.m. on Saturday, June 15th, driving a silver or gray Chevy Camaro.

According to the police, the victim was shot by the suspect who exited the car from the passenger’s side and proceeded towards him.

After the occurrence, the suspect quickly returned to the car and drove away from the area.

According to the authorities, the man who was injured was rushed to a nearby medical facility, but unfortunately, he passed away. At this time, his identity has not been disclosed.

The suspect vehicle was captured in a surveillance image released by the police on Wednesday. The suspect was seen wearing dark clothing and carrying a long gun in the photo.

As the investigation is still ongoing, the DPD has not disclosed any details regarding the motive for the shooting.
