Five persons were injured in a mass shooting on Chicago’s west side

In Chicago’s North Lawndale neighborhood, a mass shooting occurred resulting in injuries to five individuals.

In the early hours of the morning, a cluster of individuals had assembled on both the street and pavement in the 1300 block of South Lawndale Avenue. As the group congregated, a silver sedan pulled up and gunfire erupted. Law enforcement officials reported the incident shortly after midnight.

The victim, a young woman of age 25, sustained a gunshot wound to her chest and was immediately transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital. Her condition is currently critical and requires urgent medical attention.

Three individuals were shot in a recent incident, with one 22-year-old victim suffering a gunshot wound to the back of the head. The victim was taken to the hospital and is reportedly in good condition. Meanwhile, two other men aged 26 and 62 suffered gunshot wounds to their left thigh and are also listed in good condition.

The medical assistance was offered to a 21-year-old man who suffered a gunshot wound in his thigh, but he refused to take it.

The shooter is still at large and the police are actively searching for them. As of yet, no arrests have been made in connection to the incident.
