A man from Milwaukee, aged 63, dies as his car is discovered submerged in Lake Michigan

On Saturday night in Oak Creek, a vehicle belonging to a 63-year-old Milwaukee man was discovered submerged in Lake Michigan, resulting in his unfortunate demise.

According to the Oak Creek Fire Department, the dispatch center received a report on July 13th at around 10:55 p.m. regarding a vehicle that was submerged in 8 to 10 feet of water approximately 50 feet away from the Bender Park boat launch.

According to a report from the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s office, Robert Morales was identified as the man who was removed from the vehicle by first responders of the Oak Creek Fire Department. Unfortunately, paramedics declared him dead at 12:20 a.m. on July 14th.

According to the report, the initial cause of death has been classified as undetermined.

Through the use of a photo, Morales was identified by his daughter who resides in Illinois.

After scouring the vicinity of the automobile, the dive team of the Milwaukee Fire Department failed to uncover any additional passengers.

Assistance was provided by the South Milwaukee Fire Department in response to the incident.
