Over the weekend, La Porte County law enforcement officials apprehended a murder suspect from another state.
The Indiana Toll Road may be the route taken by the suspect in the Ohio child murder case, as per the state police’s received information.
A suspected vehicle was spotted by a trooper who started tailing it near the La Porte exit. The trooper continued to follow the vehicle until it was eventually pulled over near Westville.
Authorities in Ohio have taken Fernando Alejo, 22, into custody, and he is currently being held in the La Porte County Jail.
An Ohio resident is believed to be responsible for the tragic killing of a 17-year-old boy in the eastern part of Cleveland.
