One man outside the RNC is remembering the attempted assassin who was killed after taking a shot at Donald Trump as an American hero.
Check out this crazy video from Milwaukee where a man on a dirt bike appeared on the outskirts of the Republican National Convention holding a large sign in support of Thomas Matthew Crooks, with a “RIP” added as well.
The man insists that TMC should be recognized as a hero, and he is not joking. He finds it difficult to articulate what exactly Crooks did that was so heroic, but ultimately settles on this explanation – “He stood up against a dictatorship.”
As an ardent supporter of Crooks, I must say that I disagree with Thomas’s actions of bringing a firearm to a nonviolent political gathering and firing a shot towards a candidate for public office. Moreover, it is quite peculiar that Thomas argues that Crooks did not cause any fatalities, despite the fact that one individual in the audience lost their life due to the shooting.
To be honest, the individual’s argument lacks coherence and appears to be scattered in multiple directions. It seems as though the person is intentionally provoking Trump supporters and those who identify with the MAGA movement.
As soon as the incident occurred, a person, who happened to record the video, confronted him. However, one can only imagine the criticism he must have received from the people in the vicinity. After all, the Republican National Convention was taking place just a short distance away from where the incident occurred.
Even if you have different political views, this perspective is quite extreme. However, it could be a reflection of how some people genuinely feel about TMC/DT. Despite this, the majority of people agree that he is not a legendary figure.
