Fox’s Tarlov and Pirro Clash Over Trump’s RNC Speech: ‘I’m Not a Big Dum-Dum!

During the Republican National Convention held in Milwaukee this week, Fox News co-hosts Jeanine Pirro and Jessica Tarlov engaged in a heated argument over Donald Trump’s lengthy speech. Tarlov pointed out that Trump’s impromptu 9,000-word speech was contradictory to his call for unity, whether it be within the Republican party or the nation as a whole.

During Friday’s episode of Fox News’ “The Five,” co-host and Democratic strategist Tarlov expressed agreement with President Trump’s first-person retelling of the events during the recent shooting incident. Tarlov found Trump’s account to be moving and meaningful for the country to hear.

However, Tarlov took a different stance from her conservative colleagues after that moment. She stated that the rest of the speech was entirely different from what was previously discussed.

According to her, the speech was supposed to be 3000 words long, but the speaker ended up delivering a 12000-word speech. This meant that there were 9000 words of improvisation, which, she pointed out, were not aimed at unifying people. Therefore, assuming that all the ad libs were meant to bring people together would be a mistaken notion.

During a recent CNN segment, Tarlov took issue with the analyses provided by two CNN contributors, Scott Jennings and Van Jones. Jennings is a Republican, while Jones is a Democrat. Tarlov called them out for their opinions during the segment.

“It’s frustrating to see pundits like Van Jones and Scott Jennings continually embarrassed by claiming Donald Trump has changed,” she expressed. “There were no genuine olive branches extended. If you analyze the policies he discussed, it’s clear he was only speaking to that specific audience. He wasn’t trying to appeal to Nikki Haley voters or left-leaning independents.”

In his lengthy remarks, Trump touched on several topics as listed by Tarlov. He referred to Pelosi as “Crazy Nancy”, mentioned Joe Biden by name despite saying he wouldn’t talk about the president, and spoke extensively about the so-called migrant invasion and its impact on the country.

She went on to express her frustration, citing examples such as election denial, claims of cheating, and vows to prevent it from happening again. “I’m tired of being a victim,” she declared, listing off specific grievances, including the promotion of leaders like Viktor Orban and the suggestion that Kim Jong UN may miss him.

The conversation took an unexpected turn when Tarlov’s co-hosts jumped in with objections about immigration and the border. Some even suggested that Trump was merely an entertainer. The discussion quickly became chaotic with multiple people talking at once.

During the conversation, Pirro used the term “migrant invasion” in reference to the illegal activity being brought into the country. Tarlov responded by asserting her understanding of the meaning behind the phrase, making it clear that she was not ignorant of the issue at hand.

Tarlov reminded Pirro that she was present on the floor of the RNC and noticed that not everyone was fully engaged during the speech, despite Pirro’s earlier claim.

Tarlov exclaimed that people were leaving while they fell asleep.
