Four teenagers were arrested early Friday morning, July 19, after fleeing from a disabled vehicle on County MM at Rome Corners Road.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office reported that the arrests occurred in the town of Oregon following a disturbance. Deputies were dispatched to a 911 disconnect at 5:27 a.m. When they arrived, several individuals ran from a disabled car on the roadside.
Verona and Oregon Police also responded, and a collaborative law enforcement effort involving drones and a K9 unit led to the arrests:
- Cassini C. Hill, Jr., 19, of Beloit – Probation Hold
- Dashantay D. Collins, 18, of Beloit – Felony Bail Jumping and Obstructing
- Shanay J. Lindsey, 19, of Madison – Possession of Cocaine and THC, along with two outstanding warrants
- Makayla R. Garrett, 18, of Beloit – Warrant for Disorderly Conduct
A minor involved is facing a tentative charge of Obstructing and was released to a parent.
