In a mass shooting at Milwaukee’s Dineen Park, one person died and nine others were injured

Early Monday morning in Milwaukee’s Dineen Park, a tragic shooting left one 17-year-old girl dead and nine other teenagers injured.

According to reports, a shooting occurred at 12:30 am, which was a result of a fight that erupted after an impromptu car party in a park located on the northwest side of the city.

Out of the group of teenagers who were injured, one 18-year-old boy is currently in critical condition. According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office, a 19-year-old girl received treatment at the location for injuries sustained from being trampled during the incident.

Gunfire struck two homes located on N. 66th Street and W. Vienna Avenue, and N. 67th Street and W. Vienna Avenue, respectively, in what appears to be related to the incident. Fortunately, no injuries were reported at either property.
