Gas station shooting on Chicago’s South Side leaves 17-year-old boy injured

On Tuesday evening, a gas station located on Chicago’s South Side was the site of a shooting incident that left a teenage boy injured.

According to police, an unidentified suspect approached a 17-year-old boy who was sitting inside a vehicle at a gas station in the 8300 block of South Cottage Grove at around 5:34 p.m.

The injured person was taken to a nearby hospital and their condition was reported to be stable.

The investigation is being carried out by detectives from Area Two.
