The rally, originally planned for an outdoor venue, had to be moved indoors because of a shortage of Secret Service staff. The main focus of the event was migrant crime.
In his speech, Trump brought up the recent arrest of Alejandro Jose Coronel Zarate, a 26-year-old assault suspect who is believed to be associated with Venezuela’s violent Tren de Aragua migrant gang.

“Just this month, right here in this beautiful town, police apprehended a member of a brutal Venezuelan prison gang called Tren de Agua, who happened to be an illegal alien,” Trump recounted.
“These individuals are truly dangerous. This despicable criminal was accused of forcibly imprisoning a mother and her daughter and subjecting them to repeated sexual assaults.”
He also mentioned that he would put an end to all sanctuary cities as soon as he assumes office.
Last week, Representative Derrick Van Orden, a Republican from Wisconsin, expressed to Fox News Digital that the arrest had a profound impact on the community of Prairie du Chien.
Van Orden shared that his own grandchildren reside less than a mile from the residence where the mother and daughter endured such horrific abuse.
“Why should a town with a population of 5,500 people live in fear of allowing their children to play freely in their front yard?” questioned the concerned politician. “This was not the case just three years ago.”
According to Van Orden, migrant labor plays a crucial role in Wisconsin’s farming industries. However, he emphasized the importance of implementing immigration reform to ensure public safety.

“I’ve visited the border on three separate occasions…. It’s shocking to see that they allow individuals with gang tattoos to enter the country, while people coming over the border are subjected to medical screenings.
They undergo thorough medical examinations to prevent the entry of individuals with tuberculosis,” expressed the Republican congressman, highlighting his disbelief.
