Police seek shooter after 12-year-old is injured near McDonald’s

According to police, a 12-year-old child was shot in the leg and immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. Thankfully, the victim is expected to make a full recovery.

A shooting in D.C. is currently under investigation by the police after a 12-year-old boy was wounded.

Just before 4:30 p.m. on Monday, authorities received multiple calls reporting a shooting incident. Upon their arrival, officers swiftly located the injured boy.

The victim, a 12-year-old, was hit in the leg by a bullet according to the police. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital where he is expected to make a full recovery.

Police are currently searching for a teenage boy who was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black pants, and a black hoodie tied around his waist. The authorities have not yet revealed any information regarding the events that preceded the shooting.
