MDC Brooklyn has been widely referred to as “hell on earth” and an “ongoing tragedy” even before Diddy’s recent detainment there.
In the past five years, crimes have led to charges against at least six staff members at MDC Brooklyn. Additionally, numerous detainees have voiced their concerns about the prevalent violence, inadequate conditions, and significant staffing shortages at the prison.
Since June, two inmates have lost their lives at the facility.

According to a source familiar with the situation, the allegations regarding the treatment of the singer have been challenged. The source claims that the reports of him being targeted by other inmates are exaggerated and lack credible evidence to support such claims.
