Woman shot, killed in DC apartment complex; police search for black Mitsubishi
A neighbor who knew the victim exclusively shared with FOX 5’s Shomari Stone that a woman was fatally shot on Tuesday afternoon in Northeast D.C. The police are currently on the lookout for the perpetrator.
The police are currently searching for a suspect who was last seen fleeing the scene in a black Mitsubishi with front-end damage and Virginia license plates.
“It’s truly shocking and feels surreal,” expressed a resident who knew the victim and preferred to remain anonymous due to fear. They added, “This recurring crisis is something we continuously witness within our community.”
According to the neighbor, she had the qualities of a favorite aunt – approachable, straightforward, and sincere in her conversations. It was evident that she had a strong faith in God.
