Trump Claims Harris Presidency Will Turn Every Town in the U.S. Into a Third-World Disaster

On Friday, Kamala Harris, the vice-president and Democratic presidential nominee, visited Arizona and delivered a resolute speech on immigration.

She expressed her commitment to upholding Biden’s executive order that limits asylum and emphasized her determination to “keep the border closed.” Harris has been progressively adopting a more stringent stance on immigration, including revising her position on matters such as the border wall.

“You gotta get these people back where they came from. You have no choice. You’re going to lose your culture, you’re going to lose your country, you’re going to have crime the likes of which nobody has ever seen before”

“If Kamala is reelected, your town, and every town just like it, all across Wisconsin and all across our country — the heartland, the coast, it doesn’t matter — will be transformed into a third-world hellhole”

In his statement, Trump criticized Harris, referring to her as “mentally disabled.” He further argued that the policies introduced by the Biden administration were a betrayal to the nation.

Trump expressed concerns about the potential consequences of current border policies, stating that the U.S. could face an influx of violent criminals and “terrorists” if such policies were to persist.

He emphasized the risk of losing the country’s identity and suggested that mass deportations might be the solution.

Karoline Leavitt, the national press secretary for the Trump campaign, reiterated the candidate’s claims in a statement to Politico.

“Kamala has allowed more than 20 million criminals into the country because everyone who illegally crosses the border and breaks our nation’s laws is, by definition, a criminal. Kamala wants to give mass amnesty to rapists, murderers, and other violent illegal monsters. President Trump will begin the largest mass deportation in history on day one.”

Studies indicate that migrants are not more likely to commit crimes than U.S.-born citizens, contradicting the former president’s portrayal of migrant crime as a key issue in the 2024 election. This portrayal has also been amplified by his vice-president.

A comprehensive study conducted in 2023 by researchers from Stanford, Princeton, and other prestigious institutions found that immigrants have not been more likely to be imprisoned than U.S.-born citizens since 1880.

Furthermore, the research also revealed a notable trend: as immigration rates have increased, crime rates have actually decreased in recent years.
