Rally attendees express frustration after last-minute change prevents them from attending Trump’s speech

Donald Trump’s supporters were disappointed and confused when a sudden change of plan disrupted their anticipation of catching a glimpse of the former commander-in-chief.

Dozens of enthusiastic supporters, many of whom had traveled overnight, eagerly gathered outside the Discovery World Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

They were excitedly anticipating the planned campaign event, only to be informed by US Secret Service officials that the public rally, which was originally scheduled, had been changed to a closed press conference. This decision was made due to concerns regarding security and capacity.

Tom McAuliffe, a resident of Orland Park, Illinois, eagerly made the two-hour journey to the event. He had been patiently waiting since 5.30am.

“It was surprising to us that there was nobody else here,” he added.

The Trump campaign informed ticket holders of the change through email, according to WISN. The Independent has reached out to the campaign for comment.

Ticket holders received a different email indicating that the event would have strict limitations due to capacity constraints. However, they were still under the impression that a limited number of guests would be allowed to enter the museum starting at 3pm.

Despite the news of the last-minute change spreading, individuals continued to arrive throughout the day, hoping to gain entry to the event venue. Among them was Megan Bearder, who had traveled all the way from Chicago.

“I arrived at the location, and just as I parked my car, my friend called me and informed me that the event had been canceled for the general public,” she recounted. “Nevertheless, we decided to stay and make the most of our time here. Our passion for this country remains unwavering.”

Peter School, another supporter, claimed that he had personally reached out to law enforcement and US Homeland Security officials regarding the email mishap. According to his sources, it was revealed that the email had been sent out in error, and consequently, no individuals would be granted entry.

According to School, he was informed that the event was always kept private. “I’m not entirely convinced, but that’s how it is,” he said.
