Collaboration between Elon Musk-backed PAC and Turning Point for Trump campaign in Wisconsin

America PAC, with its substantial financial resources, joined the campaign effort later than Turning Point. However, it is now taking on a prominent role in the collaboration. This includes providing leadership, training Turning Point staff in data usage, making operational decisions, and covering the expenses of staff in Wisconsin.

Tyler Bowyer, the chief operating officer of Turning Point Action, shared the news with Wisconsin field staff during a meeting held in Waukesha on Tuesday. A reliable source, who was present at the meeting, revealed that the announcement was met with enthusiasm by the staff. Currently, Turning Point employees are undergoing training with America PAC.

Spokespeople from both Turning Point Action and America PAC have confirmed the establishment of a new setup in Wisconsin. However, they have chosen not to disclose specific details regarding the total staffing numbers or the financial arrangement.

“We have always believed that having more people on the ground translates into more votes at the ballot box,” Kolvet stated in a message to POLITICO. “This collaboration will greatly enhance our ability to empower our ballot chasers and maximize their influence in Wisconsin.”

According to Kolvet, the partnership not only benefits Wisconsin but also provides an opportunity for Turning Point Action to increase their efforts in Arizona.

“We are thrilled to announce that with this new funding, we will be able to expand our team and provide more comprehensive training for our dedicated volunteers. This will allow us to make an even greater impact in both states. It’s a win-win situation, and our entire team is eager to give it their all in this final push.”
