The future of Prince Harry is also being influenced by William’s upcoming role as king, as the two brothers have not yet resolved their ongoing public dispute.
According to an insider, the individual believed that there would be ample time – around 20 years – to repair the strained relationship with their father, who was seen as the ultimate figure of authority.
Harry expressed his dissatisfaction in his memoir about being overshadowed by William during their upbringing, which subsequently drew negative attention towards the future king.
According to a former royal staffer, the reunion between William and Harry may not happen until the founder of the Invictus Games offers an apology for the project.
“The only way I can envision this happening is if Harry makes a public statement, openly acknowledging that he was in a difficult place and admitting that his memoir, ‘Spare,’ was a mistake,” shared Grant Harrold, Charles’ former butler.
“He doesn’t believe that will happen,” he observed. “When hurtful words have been exchanged, some families never reconcile, and that’s just the way it is… Harry is a compassionate person, and deep down, he may hope for a different outcome.”
