JD Vance commends Marjorie Taylor Greene shortly after she implies that Hurricane Helene was artificially created

Senator JD Vance expressed admiration for Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, despite her recent comments about the weather and Hurricane Helene. Greene had suggested that an unidentified group had the ability to manipulate the weather and that they purposely caused the hurricane to impact Republican voters in Georgia and North Carolina.

Greene has gained notoriety for consistently promoting baseless conspiracy theories. She has made outrageous claims about “Jewish space lasers” and has shown support for QAnon ideology, both prior to and during her tenure in office.

On X, she went ahead and made another one of her bizarre claims, this time focusing on the weather.

In a passionate statement, Greene expressed her firm belief that the ability to control the weather is not only possible but also being actively denied by those in power. “Yes, they can control the weather. It’s preposterous for anyone to deceive and claim that it cannot be achieved,” Greene wrote.

She began by sharing an image that compared the areas most affected by Hurricane Helene with an electoral map, before making the claim that the weather can be controlled.

The identity of “they” remained unclear, but the map seemed to suggest that Democrats were somehow to blame for a hurricane aimed at harming Republican voters.

The victims of Hurricane Helene continue to rebuild their lives in the aftermath of the devastating storm.

The praise of Greene by Vance drew swift condemnation from Democrats. In a statement released on Friday, Alex Floyd, the DNC Rapid Response Director, characterized Greene as a “wildly out-of-touch conspiracy theorist and election-denying extremist,” emphasizing that her views are as harmful to voters as the Trump-Vance Project 2025 agenda.

JD Vance made a stop in Georgia today and publicly praised his “great friend” who had just shared a new conspiracy theory about controlling the weather, which was particularly concerning as Georgia was still recovering from Hurricane Helene.

This incident only solidifies the belief that Vance will have more leisure time to spend with his “great friend” after the upcoming November.
