Recall of Juice in Wisconsin Could Lead to ‘Severe Illness’

The product recall involves the 12-ounce plastic bottles of Happy Moose Tropical Roots (Lot #H240903-E, Best By 12/02/2024, UPC 860012096503) and Happy Moose Strawberry Fields (Lot #H240903-H, Best By 12/02/2024, UPC 866175000388).

At this time, there have been no reports of illness linked to the consumption of these products.

According to Armistead, our juices are created in small batches and undergo processing using HPP (high-pressure processing) technology.

This technique is scientifically proven to be effective in maintaining the quality of our products throughout their shelf life.

However, we recently discovered that a previous batch, produced 35 days ago, may not have undergone adequate treatment to meet FDA regulations.

According to the spokesperson, all the products that may have been affected have already been removed from the shelves.

They have either been consumed or disposed of. Importantly, no adverse effects have been reported by consumers who have consumed the recalled products.
