‘Unacceptable’: Fox News host condemns Trump’s false hurricane information

Fox News host Neil Cavuto criticized former President Donald Trump for spreading false information about the recovery efforts following hurricanes.

In a recent interview with Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, Neil Cavuto highlighted the significance of addressing misinformation surrounding federal hurricane recovery efforts. He emphasized that spreading false information is detrimental and undermines the crucial work being done to aid affected areas.

“But we are also inundated with a significant amount of misinformation, aren’t we?” Cavuto remarked. “There are individuals in North Carolina who claim that if you align with the Republican party, you won’t receive any assistance… I can only imagine the detrimental impact this has on our ability to collaborate and the fear it instills in others who fall for such falsehoods.”
