Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D), are actively campaigning across the Blue Wall, targeting the battlegrounds with an aggressive schedule, as stated by a campaign official.
On Monday, Harris will be making a local stop in Erie, Pa., where she will meet with Black men voters and hold a rally. Meanwhile, Walz will be visiting Eau Claire and Green Bay, Wis., on the same day. He will be joining a bus tour of Democratic governors who are showing their support for the campaign.
On Tuesday, Harris is heading to Detroit for an event where she will be joined by Charlamagne tha God. During her visit, she will also have the opportunity to meet with Black entrepreneurs. Meanwhile, Walz will be making his way to western Pennsylvania, with scheduled stops in Volant, Butler, and Pittsburgh.
Harris is set to embark on a journey to Pennsylvania on Wednesday. The following day, she will make her way to Milwaukee, La Crosse, and Green Bay in Wisconsin. Meanwhile, Walz will be in North Carolina on Thursday to commemorate the beginning of early voting in the Tar Heel State.
On Friday, the vice president will make stops in Grand Rapids, Lansing, and Oakland County, Michigan. The following day, he will continue his campaign trail by visiting Detroit and Atlanta. Similarly, on Saturday, Walz will be in Nebraska’s second congressional district.
In the crucial swing states that will determine the outcome of the election, Harris and former President Trump are locked in a neck-and-neck race.
Trump is currently leading Harris by 0.8 percentage points in Michigan, while Harris holds a narrow 0.7 percentage point lead over Trump in Pennsylvania. In Wisconsin, Trump maintains a slight advantage of 0.1 percentage points over Harris, as reported by the Decision Desk HQ/The Hill’s aggregate polling.
Former President Obama, a prominent surrogate for Harris, is set to embark on campaign trips to Arizona and Nevada this week, according to The Hill. In a similar vein, Harris herself recently visited Nevada, Arizona, and North Carolina on separate occasions last week.
