Brian Morawski of Milwaukee County expressed his opinion by saying, “He’s great if you’re into people who are completely stupid.”
“He’s just someone I really dislike,” he said, referring to Walz. Altwies admitted that she had heard his last name before but was unaware of Harris’ running mate.
“I haven’t seen him on TV or anything,” she mentioned. Kathy Przekwas from Kenosha County expressed her strong dislike for Harris’ running mate.
In her explanation, she highlighted that Walz has a tendency to appear as a “fast-talker” who effortlessly incorporates numerous falsehoods into his speech, all while speaking rapidly.
“I have a strong disapproval of his actions in Minnesota, particularly his handling of the pandemic. I am well-informed about the situation and remain unimpressed with his approach.”

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Governor Walz established a hotline for individuals to report those who were not adhering to the social distancing guidelines that he had implemented. In early 2020, he expressed concern about the size of crowds, particularly around the lakes.
According to reports, Walz defended the Hotline by stating, “It is being used, and we simply want to let people be able to call and let folks know. It’s for their own good. If we see people that may not be as informed on this, it’s an educational piece.” He emphasized the importance of providing information and education to individuals who may not be fully aware of the situation.
Midwesterners are known for their natural and down-to-earth demeanor, but according to Przekwas, this characterization may not apply to Walz. “I believe he attempts to convey that, but I don’t think he truly embodies it.”
For Wisconsin Democrats, winning the battleground state in 2024 has been a long-term endeavor. According to him, Tim Walz possesses a remarkable quality that resonates particularly with Wisconsin voters.
“He is a very familiar type of person.”

When questioned about Walz, Andrew Iverson, the Executive Director of the Wisconsin Republican Party, expressed his observation that there is a considerable amount of enthusiasm for JD Vance among the people in Wisconsin.
“He has such an amazing story to tell,” he commented, referring to the author of “Hillbilly Elegy.” Many people are eagerly anticipating his work. According to Iverson, voters are well aware of Walz’s unsuccessful track record.
