Bill O’Reilly declares New York as ‘out of control’ in scathing criticism of Governor Hochul and Mayor Adams

In a fiery tirade, Bill O’Reilly proclaimed that New York is currently experiencing an “armageddon.” The focus of his criticism was directed towards New York Governor Kathy Hochul and New York City Mayor Eric Adams, both Democrats.

In a recent bonus segment of his No Spin News, O’Reilly highlighted two polls that reveal a significant number of New Yorkers share his frustration with their leaders. According to a Siena College poll released last month, Hochul’s favorability rating stood at 34%, while her unfavorable rating reached 54%.

O’Reilly claimed that the reason for the opposition to Hochul’s leadership is the fact that New York is the highest taxed state and its infrastructure is “falling apart.”

According to him, New York City is currently facing a lack of control and there is a lack of effort to improve the situation. He pointed out that New York state has the highest tax rates in the country. Additionally, the infrastructure is deteriorating, which may be a contributing factor to the city’s 34% approval rating.

O’Reilly also mentioned a recent Marist survey which revealed that Adams has a job approval rating of only 25%, whereas his disapproval rating stands at a staggering 74%.

O’Reilly, a New York resident, contends that the quality of life in the Big Apple has declined under Adams’s leadership. He goes as far as labeling Adams’s predecessor, Bill De Blasio, as the “worst” mayor of New York City due to controversial decisions such as implementing a no bail policy for non-violent offenders.

According to O’Reilly:

This is Armageddon! So the two most powerful politicians, as I said, have lost credibility with the people, but that does mean that they or their party is going to be repudiated the next time around because there are people who will vote for failure.

One name: Bill De Blasio. Two terms. Got reelected. The worst mayor in the city’s history, and it’s not even close, was reelected. Now Adams is suffering because of De Blasio because De Blasio wrecked the infrastructure of New York, particularly the criminal justice system.

Adams came in and everybody hoped that he might improve the situation, but he has not improved it at all. Quality of life in New York City is worse than when he came in.

According to the former Fox News host, it is quite astonishing that Hochul and Adams are unable to garner more approval from the people of New York. This is particularly surprising considering the fact that Adams is succeeding De Blasio, and Hochul has taken over from Andrew Cuomo, who stepped down from his position.

O’Reilly implored his audience to provide him with just “one thing” that either Hochul or Adams has accomplished to enhance their everyday lives.

“If you’re a New Yorker, just tell me one thing, just one thing, that Hochul or Adams have done to make your life better. I challenge you, because I can’t think of anything, and I’m pretty well-informed about the situation here in New York state,” he remarked.

“I can’t come up with a single example of how either of them has positively impacted my life or the lives of my family. It’s mind-boggling when you consider the low starting point they had. You would think they could have achieved something to improve what De Blasio and Cuomo left behind, but as John Belushi famously said, ‘noooooooo!'”
