New study shows Tim Walz ranks last among governors for fiscal restraint

Grover Norquist, the president of Americans for Tax Reform, recently shared his insights on The Evening Edit regarding the current port strike and its impact on the economy.

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers earned a disappointing score of 34, resulting in an “F” grade. Similarly, Delaware Governor John Carney, Washington Governor Jay Inslee, and Maine Governor Janet Mills scored 31, also receiving an “F” grade. New York Governor Kathy Hochul had the second-lowest score of 29, just behind Walz.

John Lonski dismisses Kamala Harris’ plan to lower prices as mere “wishful thinking.”

“According to Edwards, Minnesota is a state known for its cold climate, northern location, and high taxes. However, this combination has led to a steady decline in population and businesses as individuals and companies seek out warmer states with lower tax burdens. Edwards further points out that Governor Walz has only made the situation worse by implementing significant tax increases.”
