The NYPD has issued a warning about a group of migrants who have been targeting tourists in Times Square, engaging in violent acts and robbing them.
Suspects as young as 11 years old surround their victim, intimidating them and stealing their valuables. This Venezuelan gang, known as Tren de Aragua or “los diablos,” is believed to be responsible for a series of robberies in Central Park during the summer.
There is speculation that the robberies might be connected to the initiation process of the gang.
