3 billionaires collectively donate $220 million to support Trump’s election campaign

In the final stretch of Donald Trump’s re-election campaign, three billionaires have been generously contributing to his cause.

In just three months, Elon Musk, Miriam Adelson, and Dick Uihlein have made an incredible contribution of $220 million to organizations that back the former president.

Elon Musk, the wealthiest individual on the planet, made a significant contribution of approximately $75 million to his own pro-Trump America PAC during the months of July through September.

According to the Federal Election Commission filings released on Tuesday, Musk donated around $15 million in July, followed by an additional $30 million in both August and September.

Preserve America PAC, led by Adelson, an Israeli-American physician, received a staggering $95 million in funding during the last quarter. In July, $25 million was contributed, followed by another $25 million in August, and a further $45 million in September.

Adelson, who is also the co-owner of the Dallas Mavericks, has been actively supporting Trump’s campaign, making appearances with him at various campaign stops.

One notable event was when she introduced Trump during a commemorative gathering on October 7, which marked the one-year anniversary of Hamas’ attack on Israel.

Elon Musk has been demonstrating his backing for Trump beyond just financial contributions. Last month, he took to the stage at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on October 5, which marked Trump’s return to the location of his first campaign event in July.

Addressing the crowd, Musk expressed his belief that Trump “must win to safeguard democracy in America.” Vice President Kamala Harris, Trump’s Democratic opponent, has also scheduled a campaign stop in Pennsylvania. On Wednesday, she will be visiting Bucks County to engage with the local community.

Harris, on the other hand, has received support from prominent tech entrepreneurs, which has boosted her campaign. Notably, Facebook co-founder Dustin Moskovitz donated $3 million to FF PAC in August, while Netflix co-founder Reed Hastings contributed $1 million to the same group during the same month.

The Democratic nominee’s primary fundraising committee, Harris Victory Fund, raised an astounding $633 million from July through September, surpassing the former president’s equivalent group, Trump 47, which brought in $145 million during the same period.

With the November election only 19 days away, the recent filings have become increasingly significant.
