Harris responds to hecklers at rally with a suggestion to attend a different event

While discussing the contentious issue of abortion rights in the upcoming election, Harris faced an interruption during her speech in La Crosse, Wis.

Shouts from the hecklers erupted as she passionately criticized former President Trump for his appointment of three Supreme Court justices, who played a significant role in the decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

“Oh, you’ve got it all wrong, folks,” Harris exclaimed, eliciting cheers from the enthusiastic crowd. “I believe you were aiming for the more intimate gathering just a few blocks away.”

Harris’s campaign later shared a clip of the moment on social media, accompanied by multiple fire emoji.

On Thursday, the vice president embarked on a weeklong campaign tour of the “blue wall” states, including Wisconsin. She held three separate campaign events in the state, demonstrating her determination to connect with the voters and secure their support.

The Democratic nominee, in addition to La Crosse, also made visits to Milwaukee and had a scheduled event in Green Bay later on Thursday.

According to the average of polls from Decision Desk HQ and The Hill, President Trump holds a slight lead over Vice President Harris in Wisconsin, with less than a 1 percentage point difference.
